Happy July

July is here... I can't believe that 2020 is half over already.  It's been a crazy year for all of us and even crazier for the shop.  As most of you know, we moved to our beautiful, much larger, much brighter space upstairs in Feb.  As things started rolling along in that new shop, we got shut down because of the virus and everyone was ordered to "stay-at-home".  In April my son turned 21 (which we really didn't get to celebrate), we had our 23rd wedding anniversary, in May my nephew celebrated his birthday, June was my son's graduation from the University of Washington (another celebration we missed out on), and my niece turned 21.  Coming up in July are my parents birthdays & anniversary and my nephew's wedding, that's one celebration I hope we certainly do not miss out on.  Is this ever going to end?

While missing out on all those fun celebrations, we were busy working on updating our website and coming up with ideas to showcase so that you all didn't get too bored.  And we did our first Facebook Live event, tt was a lot of work but also a lot of fun.  I hope to get back to some fun new ideas and new yarn for everyone soon.

Now that Pierce county is in phase 2 of the governor's plan, we are open for business with a modified schedule.  Good thing is, our shop is big enough for social distancing and to have a few small groups in for knitting.  It has been SO nice to see so many of you again, we missed you and still miss those who are not able to come in yet.  As we move forward, our hours have slightly changed.  We are currently open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00-2:00, closed on Sunday and Monday and are still offering curbside pick-up and shipping from our website.  Don't forget, our website is open 24/7.

While we are not currently scheduling any classes, we do offer private one-on-one lessons and hope to start some small classes soon.  And, for those that are in the high risk category, or with compromised immune systems, we do offer before and/or after hours appointments if you would like to shop by yourself.  We are following all the guidelines mandated by the city and state, we clean often, have hand sanitizer inside and outside the shop and masks are required.  If you don't have a mask, please let us know.  We hope to see more of your smiling faces soon!

Please note:  we are planning to close Friday July 3 through Monday July 6.  We will reopen on Tuesday July 7th.  We hope that you all have a safe and happy 4th of July!
