In this fun class, with Wendy, you will be weaving a basket that is approximately 10" round and features a beautiful, braided rim (the pictured basket was woven and then stained later).
Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process of creating a sturdy and attractive basket. You will learn how to weave a basket using traditional techniques.
Basket weaving is a time-honored craft that has been practiced for centuries, and our instructor will share her knowledge and expertise with you throughout the class.
In addition to learning valuable weaving techniques, you will also have the opportunity to connect with other crafters in the community and share your newfound love of basket weaving! So come join us and learn how to create a beautiful and functional basket that will be a treasured addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.
WHEN: Saturday, September 30th @10am - cost of the class includes all materials and supplies needed. This is a completely hands-on class. You will walk away with a completed basket, that is entirely made by you!
