January Yarn Of The Month
January's inspiration colorway: Committed... "I'm not addicted to yarn, we're in a committed relationship."
This year, we are "committed" to helping fight addiction, which has become an unfortunate epidemic. We will be donating $1 from each yarn of the month skein we sell throughout the year. At the end of the year our total donation will go to Ollala Lodge/Recovery Center, to help their efforts combatting addiction with teenagers & adults.
The yarn of the month is hand-dyed locally by Sunsoaked Sister. It is a fingering/sock weight yarn with a blend of 70% superwash merino, 20% yak and 10% nylon. The yak is super soft and will keep your feet toasty warm. It is also great for shawls and all other projects.
437 yards/100 grams
Although this yarn is superwash and can be washed in a machine, hand washing is always recommended to extend the life of any hand knit item.
This listing is for the variegated yarn, solid coordinating colors are only available in our shop. Please remember that computer monitors vary, we try our best to show you the exact colors.
